Kyle Macmillan was born in Durban, South Africa and later moved to Zimbabwe where he grew up. Seeking to further his education, he chose to come to Australia to attend University in Perth where he studied commerce. Captivated by Australia, Kyle chose to remain in Perth after completing his degree, and joined the team at Go Workabout.
During his time at university, Kyle’s desire to travel inspired him to tour various parts of the world including Europe, the UK, New Zealand and most of Southern Africa. His love of adventure led him to indulge in various extreme activities while travelling such as white-water rafting, gorge-swinging, and even elephant-back safari.
Kyle is also a keen fisherman and his experience extends from the fresh water rivers and lakes of Africa to deep sea fishing off the coast of Australia. This experience has left Kyle with a sound knowledge of what it means to have a good time in a foreign country, which is what Go Workabout is all about.
