Most travellers don’t have a fixed address when they are in Australia, they often use their hostels’ address, their work’s address… whatever is available. What happens when you actually need that paperwork that has been sent to these various addresses all over Australia? You have to track it down!

This paperwork will include tax and superannuation documents (pension) at least, you will need these for your tax and superannuation return. If you have any medical claims, notices from employers or any other post, your mail holding and forwarding service will come in handy. Furthermore, if you plan on buying a vehicle in Australia, you definitely need a post address for the vehicles registration and insurance documents.

Avoid problems in tracking down the paperwork by using our Mail Holding and Forwarding service. You can use our secure PO Box address and with your permission, we will scan your mail as we receive it and email it to you.

Then when you do want all your physical mail, tell us and we will forward it to whatever address you like.

How Much Does It Cost?

We charge only AU$50 for this service for someone coming to Australia for a working holiday for up to one year. This will cover you for all the mail you incur in that year of travelling.

For example, if you are working and travelling in Australia from September 2006 to September 2007 – you will receive the tax information for any work done in July, August and September 2007 in July 2008, which will 9 months after you have left Australia. You will be covered for this by our service.

Extensions will be charged at $25.

How Do I Get One?

2) Make payment by credit card or bank transfer

3) Direct us where and when you want us to forward your mail

We will continue to scan and email you your mail, but as you want your physical mail sent to you, you can contact us and direct us to forward the mail as you please.

For example, you might request that we send all future mail to a certain address, or you might request that we send all mail on hand once only to a certain address.

When Should I Get One?

You can initiate the Mail Holding and Forwarding Service at any time before or after you arrive in Australia. Once again, it is best to arrange these things in advance!
