Maybe you don't want to pre-arrange work with us, but if you plan to work at all in Australia you will need the crucial items in the ‘Necessities Pack'. It has the bare minimum to get your working holiday in Australia rolling:

• Working Holiday Visa
• Tax File Number
• Australian Bank Account

Working Holiday Visa
You will need a visa to enter Australia and if you plan to work, you will probably need the Working Holiday Visa. With the necessities pack, we will arrange your visa for you.

Tax File Number
If you are going to work in Australia, you will need a tax file number too. Click here to learn more about tax file numbers, why you need one and why you should arrange one before you leave!

Bank Account
Avoid the hassle of opening a bank account in Australia and enjoy the convenience of transferring your funds to Australia before you leave. So ditch the travellers cheques - get an Australian bank account in advance! The bank has branches throughout Australia and telephone and internet banking are included for very competitive monthly service fees.

How Do I Get One?

1) Download and complete the following form

Then email the details to info@goworkabout.com or fax them to +61 862 678 184 as directed on the form.

2) Make payment by credit card or bank transfer:

BANK TRANSFER

You will receive your notification of visa issue by email, usually within 24 hours. Your bank account will be opened and you will receive your bank account details approximately 1 month before your date of travel to Australia. You will receive your Tax File Number details by email once you have arrived in Australia.

When Should I Get One?

Although most visas are processed within a few days, you should allow at least four weeks for this before you intend to travel to Australia as in some situations it may take that long for the visa to be processed. As a rule of thumb, the earlier you can do this the better - remember that after the visa is granted you have a whole year to enter Australia on that visa!
