'My time working in Australia was a memorable experience. After a short learning period I was making more than enough to fund the next portion of my journey in Oz.

The friendly owners of the plantation were always willing to help improve technique and speed, and threw a few BBQs in our honour. The weekends were filled with adventure organized by the fun loving Go Workabout staff. We had outings to picturesque rock holes to cool off on hot days, local beaches to mingle with the colourful coral and fish, and 4 wheel driving on desert tracks. Each time we had a scrumptious BBQ cooked on an open fire.

When the time came to move on it was hard to leave the fun behind.'
