The 'Australian Working Holiday Visa' is a special visa available to passport holders of the following 19 countries:

United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hong Kong, Finland, Cyprus, France, Italy, Belgium, Estonia and Taiwan.

This is a special visa that allows entry into Australia for up to 1 year (extendable to 2 years) and allows the visa holder to work in Australia with a limitation of no more than 6 months in any one job.

You must apply for the visa whilst you have no dependent children and you are aged between 18 and 30 years of age. You must then enter Australia within one year of notification of visa issue.

The application process is usually very fast, often with notification of success issued instantly. However, in some cases the application process may take up to 4 weeks.
